
2012 Conference
The 2012 conference took place on 24 May 2012 with “Impacts of the Financial Crisis on the Global Real Estate Investment Market” as its topic. The conference gathered over two hundred attendees consisting of Cass students, alumni and the industry’s professionals together with media representatives.
The event was launched with the speech by Richard Gillingwater, dean of Cass Business School, and followed by a number of seminars, panel discussions and the closing-up networking drinks reception. All the speakers and panellists at the conference were represented by senior management of the global top real estate and financial firms such as UBS Global Asset Management, DTZ, Cushman & Wakefield, MGPA, Heitman, Pramerica and many others. The proceeds from the conference will contribute towards a student scholarship for an MSc in Real Estate or Real Estate Investment programme commencing in the 2013/2014 academic year.
